Pray today for Haiti
Dear Friends and Prayer-Partners of
Generations of Hope, Haiti / GOHaiti
During our time of trouble in Haiti we have called upon you to stand with us and to intercede over the chaotic political unrest in Haiti. You have done it, and God heard your prayers! We felt the impact of them all the way over in Haiti. To God be the glory!
We are glad to let you know that all our children and staff were well protected. The campus of GOHaiti was preserved so we can continue to proclaim Good News to the poor and freedom to the captives.
We would not be able to stand in the midst of the storm without you holding us up in prayer and intercession before the Lord for His protection and mercy.
A very special thank-you to our CHM friends for their unwavering commitment to support the ministry of GOHaiti. Also, a standing ovation for those helping us with our garden project …
This recent crisis has been a testing moment, and has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that self-sustainability through projects like gardening (and trade school, entrepreneurship training, etc.) is the way out of the vicious cycle of poverty that is crippling our Haitian brothers and sisters.
Throughout the recent turbulence, when we could not go out for days to buy anything, we still had plenty of fruit and vegetables, moringa, plantains, and even chickens and goats.
We are SO grateful for your unwavering support … and the trust that you have placed in us to be good stewards of your financial generosity.
We are opening up again for short term missionary trips to serve, love and evangelize alongside us in Haiti. Our beautiful Guest House is well maintained and fully operational so you can carry out your ministry without worrying about food, housing or safe. Another standing ovation for our partners at CHM ( especially Doug Reimer & Dan Becher) who blessed us with this guets house, a milestone in our growth in Haiti.
Please consider prayerfully how much of a blessing you can be by sharing our ministry with your Church, friends and family. Your visit will be a huge boost to the kids, and a life-changing experience you will never forget.
May God richly bless you.
